Challenges for the criminological science at present in Cuba

Abstract

The theme that is discussed contains some reflections in connection with the knowledge’s system of Criminology and some of their punctual challenges in the global and national context. Is analyzed particularly the relation of the processes in the global world with diversification and progress of the unconventional criminality, by means of new behaviors labeled and refused by the contemporary societies, some of which affect  collectives rights with a transnational dimension, in spite of which there is a vacuum on the subject of Justice International in the global level for react before these crimes, that many times leave in a state of helplessness the affected countries and peoples by their harmful consequences. Equally is evaluated the potentialities and limitations of the criminological science in Cuba to serve the purpose of that discipline.
